Podcasts That I Subscribe To
I've been asked what audio podcasts I listen to by several friends and acquaintances. Rather than re-writing the same email over and over, I thought I'd post the list here:
- Apple Phone Show - I'm a sucker for the iPhone
- Baseball Prospectus Radio - the reason I'm in first place in my fantasy league
- Buzz Out Loud from CNET - daily tech news, I haven't found anything better that is published daily
- Duct Tape Marketing Radio - usually pretty good interviews with smart marketing people from up-and-coming tech companies. Why-oh-why does it sound like it's being recorded underwater?
- FLOSS Weekly - fantastic podcast with interviews from some of the giants of the open source community. It would be even better if they had more than one episode every three months.
- LOSTCasts - one of the best podcast shows about one of the best tv shows
- Lullabot Audiocast - I never miss an episode of this Drupal-lovefest
- MacBreak Weekly - A.D.D. show all about Apple products. Show would be even better if they could stay on topic for more than 5 minutes.
- The Official LOST Podcast - the official word from the executive producers of the show
- TalkCrunch - great tech-based interview show - with all of Michael Arrington's success, can't this guy get a real microphone?
- This American Life - NPR's addictive in-depth radio show
- this WEEK in TECH - weekly tech show - you can never have enough Leo Laporte
- 60-Second Science - self-explanatory podcast from Scientific American magazine
